How long will my extensions last?

Answer: 2-4 months. This depends on the style of extensions you opt for, your natural hair growth/loss, as well as the amount of care taken with them.

Can I have my extensions put in again?

Answer: Usually. Extensions are re-usable as long as the condition of the hair is fit to do so. Balmain hair is guaranteed for 6 months (with proper care) and where possible, where every effort is made to keep extensions in good conditon, it is able to be re-used.

Can I take them out myself?

Answer: No.  You are most likely to cause damage to your hair if you do this. In the event you are not able to  book a removal appointment, you should at the very least have a friend or family member do this for you, after having received proper instructions.

Will my hair be damaged?

Answer:  You are not going to sustain any further hair damage than is unavoidable (as with all hair styling and treatment methods) as long as your extensions are fitted and removed by an extension specialist.

How often should I wash my hair?

Answer: As often as you wish. From the date of fitting you should wait at least 3 days, and after that my recommendation would be not more than 2-3 times a week. This is enough to prevent the natural build up of oils on your scalp, but not so often as to cause yur hair (and the extensions) to dry out.

Can I tie my hair back?

Answer: Absolutely! Doing so will prevent an abundance of knotting of your extensions, and as I always leave enough hair around your extensions (except in cases of short hair) to cover the bonds.
